Francesca R. Barjon

Francesca R. Barjon is a writer-director from New York, dedicated to telling bold, heartfelt stories that center marginalized communities. A graduate of NYU Stern and a former Certified Public Accountant, Francesca discovered her passion for storytelling while volunteering with grassroots organizations in NYC.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Francesca has built a career that blends her sharp narrative instincts with a deeply personal approach to directing. She worked as an NBCUniversal Page, a writer’s PA on Netflix’s Virgin River, and at the Obamas' production company, gaining firsthand experience in both the creative and production sides of the industry. Her talent was recognized when she was accepted into the prestigious Soho House Fellowship for her writing and directing work.

As a director, Francesca tells complex, emotionally rich stories that challenge societal norms while embracing the humor and heart of everyday life. Her films explore themes of mental health in activism, the intricacies of mother-daughter relationships, and the struggles of self-definition within marginalized communities. Francesca’s approach to filmmaking is clear: she is here to tell stories that challenge, heal, and make audiences feel seen.

Brittany Maupin
Executive Producer / Writer / Lead Actor
Brittany Maupin is an accomplished actor and producer with a passion for creating transformative stories. As the cofounder of Expose, an impact-driven media company, she leads efforts to amplify diverse voices and foster human connection through authentic storytelling.
With a background in management consulting and entrepreneurship, Brittany blends strategic insight with creative vision. Her work aims to unite audiences by showcasing genuine narratives from across the globe, promoting inclusivity and understanding through powerful, engaging content. She is a native English speaker and speaks fluent Spanish.

Tara Khorti
Producer
Tara Khorti is a producer with a BS from New York University's Stern School of Business, where she concentrated in Producing and the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. Tara's multidisciplinary background spans entertainment and finance, having previously held positions at Viacom, WeWork, ICM Partners, and BlackRock.
At ICM Partners, Tara supported Motion Picture Talent Agent JR Ringer and TV Comedy Agent Taryn Ariel, working with clients such as Clint Bentley, Greg Kwedar, Mark and Jay Duplass, Pete Davidson, Chris Redd, and more. In her current role, Tara is Chief of Staff to the US Head of
Digital Wealth, where she manages a $50m budget and works externally with a variety of clients.
Her last film, titled 'The Shallow Tale of a Writer who Decided to Write about a Serial Killer' by Tolga Karacelik and starring Steve Buscemi, John Magaro, and Britt Lower, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2024.

Kari Blacksher
Producer
Kari Blacksher is a writer from Atlanta, Georgia, who specializes in one-hour dramas. Kari graduated from Prairie View A&M University where she earned a bachelor's degree with a major in communications and a minor in theater. Kari’s love of the arts steered her to pursue stage management for her theater department where she fell in love with behind-the-scenes work. She landed an internship at NBC, where she got to work on a team of nine producers assisting with commercial shoots. From there, she sought to further her time at NBC by joining their West Coast Page Program, working in Universal Studio Group Research and Insights, Talent Booking, and Scripted Communications. Kari also worked alongside executives at Focus Features, Universal Pictures, Universal Content Productions, and Universal Television.
Kari currently works as the assistant to two talent agents at Paradigm Talent Agency. She also has three finished pilots with a fourth on the way. Kari aims to create content that showcases people of color as your everyday main characters.

Keanna Dunn
Assistant Director
Keanna Dunn is a rising filmmaker and executive producer based in Los Angeles, known for her creative vision and storytelling prowess. With a passion for bringing stories to life on the big screen, Keanna graduated from Cal State University Northridge with her BA in Cinema Television Arts. Her dedication to pushing boundaries and exploring diverse narratives has garnered attention and admiration.
Drawing inspiration from her surroundings and personal experiences, Keanna's work includes Unit Production Manager roles, to Assistant Directing various scripted series projects, short films, social content, documentaries, and
more. As an upcoming talent in Los Angeles, Keanna Dunn is poised to make a significant impact on the world of film and television, captivating audiences with her eagerness and bold vision.

Nozomi Lyn
Composer
Nozomi Lyn is a Los Angeles-based Film Composer, Singer-Songwriter, and Producer of Japanese and Chinese heritage. Classically trained in piano and proficient in multiple instruments, she holds a Master’s in Screen Scoring from NYU. Having lived in Japan, China, Canada, and the United States, she brings a multicultural perspective to her music. Her work spans short films, animation, and documentaries, often blending orchestral, electronic, and traditional instruments, and incorporating her own vocals to add an expressive, personal touch to the storytelling. She served as a music assistant to composer Cecilia Lin on the Broadway-bound musical Fusong, presented at New 42 Studios in New York City.
Nozomi’s recent work has been showcased at DOC NYC and the Anatolia International Film Festival, and she has recorded original compositions with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra.
